Fuel is the only club night in Cardiff City Centre to ROCK YOUR WEEKEND!

Fuel began as a response to the fact that, despite the obvious demand, there was nowhere in the centre of Cardiff for fans of ''Metal' to go on the weekend and be sure of hearing their type of music. Other club nights had been succesful, but either took place in midweek or involved a long trek to the outskirts of town. Fuel ignited on September 9th 2006 at the Nosda Hotel, directly across the river from the Millennium Stadium. Within easy walking distance from Cardiff's clubland, but far enough away from the hordes of drinkers lured each weekend to the corporate theme bars of St. Mary's Street. Delivering a mix of music from Classic Rock to Punk, Fuel aims to please the more discerning music fan and has already hosted members of Motorhead, Tigertailz, Dirty Sanchez, Kerrang!, Dressed to Kill and BBC 6Music. In August 2007 Fuel also played host to the 7th Official All-Wales Air Guitar Championship.

With a team of utterly approachable DJ's, and a crew of awesome bar and door staff, Fuel is the place to rock your world!

Meet the team...

Rob Toogood is one of the busiest DJ's in Cardiff (and a shocking testament to male pattern baldness...) Resident on a Thursday & Friday at The Philharmonic, Rob has spent years attempting to convert the masses by slipping the likes of AC/DC, Journey, Tenacious D, Iron Maiden and even Pantera into his mainstream sets at the 'Philly'.   Rob is also the DJ & Announcer for the Cardiff Blues Rugby Team.

Carny John (Left) has been one of the leading Rock DJ's in Cardiff since most people care to remember and has been rocking Fuel since October '06. Also a resident at Planet Rock (Tuesdays @ Clwb Ifor Bach).

Paul Morgan (Right) gets Fuel  warmed up while John and Rob are having pre-gig massages and picking out the blue M&M's from their rider. Also known to take the odd piccy now and then...

Also to have appeared at Fuel are Edd and Al from Welsh Club and Swansea's DJ Flames. Want to try your luck as a Fuel DJ? Get in touch...
